Reverse Call Charge (RCC) solution was, developed to solve the problem of flash calls. The concept behind the RCC solution is designed wherein the cost / charges for call will be paid by the receiver of the call, that is, a caller with or without call credit can call a Subscribed number to Reverse call Charge service and the subscribed party (receiver) would be charged for the call.

Who Can Register

The Subscriber to the RCC platform can register mobile numbers of friend, family, workers etc., who can call him / her at no charge, whether or not the caller has credit on his or her Mobile phone.

Subscriber

A Reverse call Charge subscriber can add several numbers into their RCC account module or list. Unlike other receiver service wherein the telecom provider gives the receiver the option of accepting or rejecting a call but with Reverse Call Charge service, numbers on the subscribers white list are connected directly to the subscriber at no cost to the caller.




KEY FEATURES

ACTIVATION AND SUBSCRIPTION FEE:

₦10 Daily Charge: Mobile Network Customers who activate Reverse Call Charge service will pay ₦10/day to keep the service is active. This will be deducted from their Airtime balance, also fallback charge will be configured with the service.

  • Example: If a user activates the service on Monday, they will be charged ₦10 for that day and charge subsequently.
  • ADDING CONTACTS (FAMILY, WORKERS, BUSINESS PARTNERS):

    Users can add a list of family members, workers, or business partners to their profile, and these contacts will be able to call the user for free.

  • Each added contact will be linked to the user’s Mobile phone number , and the user will be notified when the contact has successfully been added.
  • USSD Activation:

  • To add a contact, users dial a code like *882*AddContact# (e.g., *882*08051234567#) to add the number of a family member, worker, or business partner to their list.
  • Users can add up to 10 numbers.

  • SMS Activation:

  • Users can send an SMS like: “ADD 08051234567” to the short code 882 to add a contact to the service. Web Activation.
  • Users can signup on www.reversecallcharge.com, they can add mobile numbers with ease.
  • FREE CALLS FOR ADDED CONTACTS:

    When a family member, worker, or business partner calls the user, the call is free for them. The recipient (the person who activated the service) will bear the full cost of the call.

  • CALLER: Calls from added family members or employees are free for the caller (family/worker) but the person who activated the service will pay for the call charge.
  • Example SMS: “RCC” to 882 to check their subscription status.
  • Website: Users of the service can manage their Reverse Call Charge service via online to delete or add mobile numbers. Users will be required to enter an authorisation code created during signup when adding or deleting a number.
